Freezing start!

Today  I got up early to weed a few rows of tree in the field and to water them.  The water from the hose actually felt warm compared to the outside temperature.  There was a hard frost on the ground this morning.  I worked on shipping trees today.  This afternoon I finished prepping trees for a display at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  I weeded, pruned, sprayed and cleaned the pots.  I am taking 7 trees for display.  They are borrowing a few of my father’s private collection of bonsai.  Tomorrow I am going to take the trees up and leave them there and picking up the trees in the evening.  Tonight after work, my wife and I went to eat sushi (Our regular Friday night ritual).  Tomorrow I have a few customers to take  care of in the morning.  I will take the trees up for display and work at the nursery for a few more hours.  I will quit early and take my wife wine tasting at a beautiful winery where are friends are members.  The winery is called Sculpterra and has beautiful Sculptures outside and inside of their winery.  The winemaker is a very young man that produces fantastic wines.  After we stay there for a few hours, I will pick up my trees on the way home.  It will be a busy, but fun day.
