Happy Birthday to Me!

Thanks from all the well wishers on my birthday. I have been taking a break from working to go away for a few days. My wife threw me a 50th birthday party on Saturday Jan. 2nd. The party was set for 5:00pm. Everyone was there on time except me. I had two last minute customers that came at 4:30pm. By the time they left it was 5:15pm. I spent Sunday morning with my family playing cards. In the afternoon we headed for Cambria. If anyone has not been to Cambria, it is really worth the drive. It is along highway 1 about 20 minutes north of Morro Bay. The weather was perfect. It was around 68 degrees. Normally in January, the high in Cambria would be around the mid 50’s. Since we had a mild Santa Ana wind, the temperatures were warmer. We had dinner at Cambria Pines Lodge and also stayed there. In the morning, we drove a few miles to the boardwalk in Cambria. The sunlight was dancing off of the waves and it was the perfect weather to take a walk. After the walk we had lunch at Robin’s in Cambria. We did a little shopping in town and did some wine tasting. This was a very memorable birthday. Being 50 isn’t so bad. It is just a number…
