Heading to Austin..

Easter Sunday was quite relaxing.  We went to a church service at a Lutheran Church that was built in 1870.  It had a capacity of around 300 people and was standing room only.  We were in the balcony that had a narrow starway.  You can tell that the balcony was and afterthougt.  Part of the balcony was covering a beautiful stain glass window.  After the church service, we hung out at my brother in laws place.  He has a beautiful home in Leander, which is not far from Round Rock.  He cooked a wonderful ham dinner and I got to play with their 5 month old son.  He is very active and always smiles.  Today we are headed to downtown Austin.  My daughter may move out here for law school.  She wants to check out the downtown and see what its all about.  I forgot to mention on Friday that we went to a semi – pro hockey match.  The match was the local Texas Star’s against the Houston Aero’s.  The Aero’s won 3 – 2, but the action was great and teh atmosphere was raucus.  I had never been to a hockey game before and it was quite fun.  Well I need to get ready to go to Austin, I will let you know how it was……..

George, sounds like you're enjoying a well deserved vacation. I hope you don't come back with a Texas drawl.
