Sharing Beauty!

Today I had a wonderful group of women tour the nursery. They are part of my wife’s sorority that she belongs to. As I gave my tour, I noticed that the ume tree was almost fully in bloom. It has a sweet fragrance that is subtle but noticeable. I took a couple of pictures of the ume tree and of our San Jose juniper bonsai. To give you an example of the size of the San Jose juniper, it is in a 28 inch pot and the diameter of the base is around 8-9 inches. My father just pruned it a few weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing. So I thought I would share it with you. If you would like to see them in person, you can drop by the nursery anytime. The pink ume is just starting to bloom and the white one has a few more weeks before the blossoms are gone. Click on each of the photo’s to get a full size image. Enjoy!….
